The new Modulus Video MD3187A modular receiver decoder meets a wide range of MPEG-4 AVC broadcast distribution needs. The MD3187A is fully interoperable with Modulus Video’s complete line of bandwidth efficient MPEG-4 AVC encoding products for HD and SD video. The combination of products provides a fully optimized point-to-point distribution solution to meet a wide range of broadcast distribution, IPTV and direct to the home (DTH) operations and transmission monitoring needs and more. Features include up to two independent MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 AVC decoders, eight available I\O slots, and interface options including ASI, QPSK, IP and a DVB-CI module.
